Anchorman
“Brick, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safe house or a relative close by. Lay low for a while because you're probably wanted for murder.” – Ron Burgundy (“Anchorman” – 2004)
It’s
It Must Have Been Some Party!
Near the beginning, Ron meets Veronica at a party. Keep an eye on Ron’s drink between the shot of him talking to one of his friends and when he goes after Veronica. It’s completely different. The drink in the shot with Veronica even has a straw!
It’s Good To Be Home
There are a couple of things to look out for here! When Ron comes home after the party, he starts to put his coat on the chair. But, in the next wide shot, you’ll see that the coat is already over the back. Be sure to watch the jacket during the scene. You’ll see that is changes position. In close shots it’s further down the back of the chair and near the middle but in wide shots the jacket is closer to the side. Also watch Baxter, the dog, closely! During close-ups his paws are on the arm of the chair but his paws are on the seat cushion during wide-shots.
Is It Buttoned Or Not?
Ron offers to show Veronica around the city. While she is waiting for him in the lobby, we see Veronica button her white jacket. However, when Ron shows up a few seconds later, the jacket is now unbuttoned.
It’s A Brawl!
All of the city’s news crews are in a brawl. Before the fight begins, Champ (David Koechner) puts on a pair of brass knuckles. But, if you look closely when he throws another newsperson through the windshield of a nearby vehicle, the brass knuckles are gone.
