Friday The 13th
“We ain’t going to stand for any weirdness out here!” – Officer Dorf (“Friday the 13th” – 1980)
It’s not all fun and games at Camp Crystal Lake when a group of camp counselors, who are working to get the place open, meet a gruesome end. Who is the culprit behind the murders? You’ll have to watch “Friday the 13th” to find out!
Hold On A Minute!
Near the beginning Steve (Peter Brouwer) is talking to Alice (Adrienne King) about whether she wants to leave. A front shot of Steve shows his left arm is elevated and holding on to the gutter overhead. In the next right side shot of him talking to Alice, his arm is down.
Sneaky Snake
Alice sees a snake in the cabin. After everyone rushes in, we see a close-up shot (from under the bed) of Bill (Harry Crosby) and Alice peeking under the bed with everyone else behind them. It then cuts to an overhead shot and it’s actually Marcie (Jeannine Taylor) in front and Alice is now behind her.
In The Spotlight
Steve is on his way back to Camp Crystal Lake at night when his car breaks down on the side of the road. A police cruiser approaches and we see the spotlight and the red lights cut on. Steve opens the cruiser’s door and the close-up reveals the red lights are off. But in the next exterior shot, the cruiser’s red lights are on again!
What Are You Looking At?
Beware! Spoilers Lurk Below!
Brenda’s (Laurie Bartram) body is thrown through the window. The overhead shot of her shows her head is tilted towards her right shoulder. However, when Alice comes back into the room after being chased by Mrs. Voorhees (Betsy Palmer), Brenda’s head is tilted the other way, towards her left shoulder.
Maybe She Didn’t Like The Cooking!
Alice is hiding in the store room when Mrs. Voorhees finds her. Alice hits her in the head with a frying pan. Watch closely when Mrs. Voorhees falls on the floor. In the close-up shot, Mrs. Voorhees’ left arm is across her chest. In the next shot, when Alice pushes her with her foot, Mrs. Voorhees’ arms are near her face.
