The Incredibles

The 2004 movie, “The Incredibles”, became one of the top animated films of all time.  When superheroes are forced into hiding, how did they adjust to everyday life?  While you’re watching this flick, here are a few things to look for.

Spin The Bottle!

Before Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) arrives to go “bowling” with Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson), the Parrs are having dinner at home when a ruckus breaks out.  When Frozone arrives after the chaos, watch the green glass that’s near Violet.  Throughout most of the scene, the opening of the glass is facing towards the upper left while lying in a diagonal position.  But, when Violet is complaining about “Jack Jack is the only normal one” the glass is in a horizontal position with the opening facing the right.

Since we’re talking about dinner…

It’s Supposed To Be Good For You!

Watch Jack Jack’s plate after Bob and Frozone leave.  Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) mentions “about not getting away with the trip to the principal’s office”.  If you look closely, we see a glimpse of Jack Jack’s plate and there is nothing on top of the steak.  But in the next shot, we see there is a piece of broccoli on top of it!

Maybe The Zipper Got Stuck

Helen is piloting the plane.  She looks in the seat next to her and we see the suitcase she has brought along.  Watch the zipper on the suitcase carefully.  The zipper handle changes from one end of the bag to the other between the time she unzips it to when she picks the suitcase up.

It Was Just There A Second Ago

Towards the end, we see Frozone at home.  Watch the bottle of cologne he is using while he’s looking in the mirror.  Before Frozone is distracted, the bottle is on his right with the top off.  He runs to see what the commotion is and when he gets back, the cologne bottle is now to his left with the top on.

"The Incredibles" is a "Movie Pick of the Week"!
