Randy (Jon Lovitz) and Bev (Kathy Najimy) arrive at the hotel with their kids Jason (Brody Smith) and Kimberly (Jillian Marie). The two kids begin to jump on the bed. When Randy says he’s going to the gift shot, the cylinder-shaped pillow bounces off the bed. But, when the two kids accidentally smack together a few seconds later, the pillow is back in place!
Let’s See That Again
Nick (Breckin Meyer) is talking to Tracey (Amy Smart) at the airport while she’s reading her book on Lindbergh. A few moments later, when Nick returns with his “comeback line”, Tracey has her book open and we see her shut it. It then cuts to Nick and then another shot of Tracey, who suddenly has her book open once again.
What Did She Say?
When Vera (Whoopi Goldberg) and Merrill (Lanei Chapman) talk to the Squirrel Lady (Kathy Bates), she tells the two to drive 5.4 miles until they see the sign with graffiti on it. But, if you listen closely a few scenes later, Merrill says they’ve traveled exactly 2.4 miles when they see the graffiti sign!
Waving The Flag
Randy has stolen Hitler’s vehicle when he accidentally runs into a motorcycle gang. Watch closely when the women attack the car. One of them smashes the flag on the rear of the vehicle (the driver’s side). But when the family finds themselves at the Veteran’s ceremony, all of the flags are intact.
Hold On!
When Blaine (Vince Vieluf) jumps on the hood of the car, trying to grab the rope from the hot air balloon, he falls. The close-up shot shows his left hand grips the Cadillac emblem on the hood. But in the next overhead shot, his hand is near the center of the hood. Then in the next close-up, both hands are over the front end of the hood!
Who’s Driving?
Harold (Dave Thomas) gets in the car with Vicky (Brandy Ledford). Harold is in the driver’s seat. But a few moments later, when the cow ends up in the car, he’s suddenly in the passenger seat!
