Titanic (1997)
”…the water is freezing and there aren’t enough boats; not enough by half. Half the people on this ship are going to die.” – Rose (“Titanic” – 1997)
1997’s “Titanic” is one of the most successful movies of all time. This James Cameron epic not only grossed over a billion dollars worldwide but also garnered the Oscar for Best Picture. Set in 1912, Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslet) is unhappily engaged to Cal Hockley (Billy Zane) when fate puts them aboard the maiden voyage of the “unsinkable” luxury liner Titanic. During the trip, Rose meets and falls in love with Jack Dawson (Leonardo Dicaprio), a person from a world completely opposite of her own. Will they live happily ever after or will the fate of the doomed ship intervene? While you’re watching “Titanic”, keep an eye out for these movie oops!
No Wonder She Almost Fell!

Rose yells “Listen!” and punches him. Before his hand reaches his nose, you can see that there is “blood” in his hand!
Where Did The Icicles Go?
**This may contain a SPOILER so proceed with caution!**
After the sinking, Rose is on the door while Jack is in the water. She sees the light from the lantern and turns and says “Jack, there’s a boat”. During the front shot of Jack, we can see tiny icicles formed on his upper lip. But, in the next side shot, the icicles are gone.
James Cameron went to great lengths to make sure the movie was historically accurate but there are a few things that are mistaken!
When Cal and the others arrive to board the ship, Lovejoy (David Warner) instructs one of the stewards to take the baggage to parlor
Jack tries to coax Rose back over the railing by telling her about a time when he fell through the ice on
During the sinking, we see John Jacob Astor on the stairwell as the water is flooding in. Stepping away after putting his wife, Madeline, on a lifeboat, it is believed that John Jacob Astor was actually crushed by one of the ship’s funnels when it fell during the sinking. This was evident by soot that was discovered on his body when it was later pulled from the
